  • De Montfort University, Leicester

    • Originating in 1870 from the Leicester School of Art, De Montfort University (DMU) was granted university status in 1992. With over 20,000 students across all four faculties of Art, Design and Humanities, Business and Law, Health and Life Sciences and Technology.

      At DMU, courses are endorsed by professional bodies and teaching is aligned with current industry practices. Students are able to take part in a work placement with organisations such as the BBC, the NHS, HP and Deloitte.   • Glasgow Caledonian University

    • With nearly 17,000 students, Glasgow Caledonian University is one of the largest universities in Scotland. The University is made up of three academic schools - School of Health and Life Sciences, Glasgow School for Business and Society, and School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment. Glasgow School for Business and Society has a fine reputation for developing innovative programmes in areas such as Risk Management, E-Business and International Fashion Marketing.

      Glasgow Caledonian University doesn’t only offer courses that include practical work placements, but also help students to develop skills in areas such as communication and problem solving, the skills future employers seek.       Scholarship

      Undergraduate students receive £1,000 towards their first annual fees and £1,000 for each subsequent year of their degree. The fee discounts are applicable to self-funded undergraduate international students only. Students will automatically receive the fee discount when offered a place on their chosen course, and at the time of invoicing for each subsequent year of your degree if they meet the criteria mentioned.

       

  • Leeds Beckett University

    • Originally started as a technical college, Leeds Beckett University now offers a broad range of subjects, encompassing arts and humanities as well as science and technology. The university retains its strength in technical fields, with three prominent research institutes for sport, sustainability and health.

  • University of Lincoln

    • University of Lincoln has around 16,000 students across its four academic colleges, covering arts, science, business and social sciences subjects with more than 300 courses available in total at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

      University of Lincon is a top 50 UK university, ranked 45th in the UK (out of 135) in The Times University Guide 2021 and 43rd (out of 131) in The Complete University Guide 2019, with top 10 ranks at subject level for several of its courses.       Entry Requirements:

      1. English Language: Prospective students require IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score) or an equivalent qualification. Please note that some courses require a higher score.
      2. Undergraduate: Successful completion of a recognised International Foundation Course. Between 27 and 34 International Baccalaureate (IB) points depending on the course you wish to apply for. Diploma 1 (D1) with a minimum GPA of 2.8. Students with the first year of an Indonesian degree with a minimum GPA of 2.8 will be considered for Level 1 entry.
      3. Postgraduate: Sarjana 1 (S1) – Four-year Bachelor's degree. Diploma IV (D4) – Four-year Diploma. Students on both routes should have a GPA of 2.8 (UK 2:2) to 3.0 (UK 2:1). Alternatively if they have extensive work experience then this would be considered alongside a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Liverpool John Moores University

    • Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), originally established itself as a Mechanics Institute in 1823. The university comprises three campuses namely the City Campus, IM Marsh Campus and Mount Pleasant Campus, with over 20,000 students and 200 undergraduate courses to choose from.

      LJMU ranked among the top 50 universities in the UK (Guardian University League 2019) and is ranked 2nd in the top 10 student cities in the UK. Around 95% of students work or pursue further study within 6 months of graduating.

      1. Undergraduate: applicants studying the D1 Diploma or D2 Diploma require a good GPA. Students holding the SMA will be required to study a suitable Foundation programme

    • Teesside University was first established as Constantine Technical College back in 1930 to support Middlesbrough’s booming engineering and shipping industries in 1930, the college became a polytechnic in 1969 and then one of 14 new universities approved by the Privy Council in 1992.     • Today there are more than 27,000 students enrolled, with 4,000 of whom are international students from 140 different countries. The university has three campuses in and around Bristol, Gloucestershire and also offers courses through local study partners and several global partner institutions. University of West England has strong research in areas ranging from robotics and big data, to appearance issues and children’s literature.

      Entry Requirements

      1. Undergraduate: completion of Polytechnic Diploma D1 with a score of 6 completion of Polytechnic Diploma D2 with a pass Holders of the SMA Award (Ujian Nasional – Senior High School Diploma and National Exam) with a score of 7/10, will be considered for our undergraduate courses in the fields of Business, or Art and Design only.
        Entry to year 2/3: completion of Polytechnic Diploma D3 with a CGPA of 2.5/4.0 may be eligible for advanced entry to our undergraduate courses completion of Polytechnic Diploma D4 with a pass may be eligible for advanced entry onto our undergraduate courses. The requirements listed are the minimum requirement for entrance to UWE Bristol, competitive courses may have higher requirements.
      2. Postgraduate: Holders of the Pasca Sarjana with a grade of C+ or above, would be considered for entry onto a master's course Completion of Polytechnic Diploma D4 with 60%, is equivalent to a UK degree of 2:2 (70% = 2:1), and would be considered for entry onto a master's course.

  • University of Wolverhampton

    • Established over 190 years ago, University of Wolverhampton has more than 2,500 international students from over 130 countries. The university also holds a Silver award as part of the Teaching Excellence Framework assessment. This award recognises that the University delivers provision that is of high quality and consistently exceeds the rigorous national quality requirements for UK higher education with most students achieving excellent outcomes. There are 3 main campuses with a total of more than 22,000 students and 96% employability rank (DHLE 2018)

      Wolverhampton is in a central location in the UK, with Birmingham just 18 minutes away by train. Manchester can be reached in 70 minutes, and London in approximately 90minutes. Wolverhampton also offers a cheap cost of living compared to other UK cities.

      With over 500 courses to choose from, international students can move closer to their career goals. It houses three faculties namely Arts, Business and Social Sciences; Education, Health and Wellbeing; and Science and Engineering. The three faculties offer courses in more than 70 subject areas, with many courses accredited by professional bodies.

      University of Wolverhampton offers free English language support for international students during their degree, while separate credit-bearing modules are also available in academic and general English.       Students who do not meet the entrance requirements for a bachelor degree will be considered for the International Foundation Year.

      • English language: English language requirements vary by course and department but the standard University requirement is 6.0 with 5.5 in every component in IELTS or the same scores in the University's own entry test, the Wolverhampton English Proficiency Examintion (WEPE)
      • Undergraduate: Ijazah - Sekolah Menengah Atas/Madrasah Aliyah (SMA/MA) – Certificate of Graduation from Academic/Islamic Secondary School. Students holding the Certificate of Graduation from Secondary school would be eligible for entrance onto a Bachelor degree with grades of 7 and above in all subjects.
      • Postgraduate: Students holding a Sarjana I or Diploma IV froma NARIC or government recognised institution will be eligible for entrance to a Bachelor degree:
        -. A GPA of 3.0 or grade B is considered comparable to a UK 2:1
        -. A GPA of 2.0 or grade C is considered comparable to a UK 2:2
        -. A GPA of below 2.0 or grade C is considered comparable to a UK 3 and would require the completion of a pre-masters course.

      Scholarships

      An international bursary of £1,000 per year of study is available to all new international students enrolling at University of Wolverhampton in the academic year 2020/21. Students automatically become eligible for the Scholarship once they have received a conditional offer from the University of Wolverhampton and will be awarded £1,000 towards tuition fees in their first year.

      However, the university also offers a Lord Paul Excellence Scholarship for students who have a 2:1 or 1st class degree classifications. If students have a bachelor degree with honours and have a second class upper you will be entitled to £2000 GBP instead of £1000 GBP, and if you are a first class student you will receive £2500 GBP instead of £1000 GBP.

      Students who meet the eligibility criteria you will automatically be considered for an International Scholarship.

  • University of York

    • York is a high-performing, research intensive Russell Group University and one of the world’s premier institutions for inspirational and life-changing research. Their focus on teaching and research excellence has resulted in consistently high rankings in the UK and a first-class reputation across the globe.

      In the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021, University of York ranked #133 and is in the world top Top 40 for Arts and Humanities and Top 100 for Social Sciences.

      Entry Requirements

      1. Undergraduate: Applicants with Certificate of Completion of Academic Secondary School (Ijazah SMA), will need to take an additional course before being able to apply for an undergraduate course at York. This could be A levels, the International Baccalaureate, or a recognised foundation course.
      2. Postgraduate: For a postgraduate taught course, such as a Masters, applicants would normally need a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution. Typically applicants would need at least the equivalent to a UK upper second class honours degree, however some courses will accept lower second class honours degrees. Actual requirements will vary by course:
        -. A score of 3.0 out of 4.0 is considered comparable to a UK 2:1
        -. A score of 2.8 out of 4.0 is considered comparable to a UK 2:2
      3. Research Degrees: For a research degree, such as an MPhil or a PhD, applicants would normally need a Bachelor's degree plus either a Masters degree in a relevant subject or some experience of conducting research.

Indonesian students are encouraged to apply, as the application will be processed on a case by case basis, noting your eligibility for an undergraduate degree or if you need to take a foundation programme.
        International applicants must be proficient in English in order to be admitted directly onto a course. Direct entry onto a degree programme will require one of the following:
